EXCALIBUR IV is the widely anticipated fourth NEW STUDIO ALBUM in the Celtic Rock Opera series, following on from the GOLD and PLATINUM selling original trilogy. EXCALIBUR IV was played live in its entirety to 12 ARENAS in Germany in December 2016 and will be touring again in 2018.

After a thousand years of imprisonment, Merlin – the wizard – finally escapes from Morgana’s spell. Initially intrigued by the beauty of the new world that he returned to, he soon discovers the decay of knightly and sublime virtues, which once had been so bravely defended by King Arthur’s roundtable. An enraged Merlin casts his biggest spell over this world and brings the mighty dragon to life. A epic return of the legendary Celtic rock opera on to German stages, a new chapter in the saga around the sword Excalibur – this is “EXCALIBUR - The Dark Age Of The Dragon”.

Jesse Siebenberg and John Helliwell appear on the new EXCALIBUR IV The Dark Age of the Dragon album! OUT NOW!
Nearly 5 years after the last Excalibur album, Alan Simon’s rock opera returns to stores with a new full length studio album, The Dark Age of the Dragon.
The album features Jesse Siebenberg on lead vocals on three tracks: “I’m Not the Only One”, “Forget Your Sorrow” and the single “You are the Sunshine”. John Helliwell plays on numerous tracks thought out the album including the instrumentals “The Fifth Season” and “Stonehenge”.
Jesse Siebenberg said “I'm grateful for once again being invited to take part in one of Alan's most recent projects. We had fun making it..! My thanks and congratulations to everyone involved in realizing such a great album, and also to everyone listening.”
John Helliwell added: “I enjoyed playing again with Alan Simon’s Excalibur project, on both the album and the tour. The Excalibur IV studio album is out now!“
