EVEN IN THE QUIETEST MOMENTS ...

Roger Hodgson and band visits for the first time my home town, Sant Cugat del Vallés, located in the mountains behind Barcelona.

They took a little walk in the morning, and they loved it !!!

Last night Roger did a great show in "Jardins de Pedralbes" (Barcelona), and tonight another show here in Sant Cugat, even more emotional.

Tickets sold out months ago. And the audience welcome and reaction has been even warmer than last night, during the whole show. The nice auditorium helps, because is a smaller venue, people seats closer to the stage.

The Set List has been almost identical to last night in Barcelona, see our Chronicle.  Just a small change: No "Teach me to love again" but we had "Lovers in the Wind".

And again, we’ve enjoyed the magic song "Even in the Quietest Moments", and again the big surprise "Babaji" , that  was not planned. Thanks again Roger !!!

The audience enjoyed a lot, standing ovations during the whole show, and again, specially after "Fool's Overture" there were many oeee oeee oeeee asking for the encore

And, obviously, it was so special show for me, having Roger and team in my home town. Small world….

I met there lot of good friends and neighbors, we all had lot of fun. As usual in the Roger’s shows we jumped next to the stage for the encore and I saw lot of happy faces :o)

Roger and team stated that they had a really good time here, and we hope to have them here soon again.

After the farewell, they took their tour bus (with bunk beds), 14 hours left to Switzerland, next stop.

EVEN IN THE QUIETEST MOMENTS ...

 

Roger Hodgson y su banda visitan por primera vez mi ciudad, Sant Cugat del Vallés, en las montañas detrás de Barcelona.

Y les ha encantado !!! Así nos lo han hecho saber tras darse una vuelta por aquí y nos explicaron luego tambien los miembros de la banda.

Tras el concierto anoche en "Jardins de Pedralbes" vinieron a dormir aquí, y hoy nos han ofrecido un nuevo y emotivo concierto en el Auditorio.

 

Las entradas estaban agotadas desde hace mucho tiempo, y el recibimiento del público ha sido aún mas cálido que anoche, tambien ayuda el lugar mas pequeño y cercano al escenario.

 

El repertorio ha sido casi identico al de anoche en Pedralbes, ver nuestra Crónica, con un pequeño cambio: ha caido "Teach me to love again" pero hemos tenido "Lovers in the Wind".

 

Y de nuevo nos ha vuelto a deleitar con el mágico tema "Even in the Quietest Moments", y también se ha sacado de la manga de nuevo el tema "Babaji" que no estaba previsto. Gracias de nuevo Roger !!!

 

El público disfrutó de la lindo, con grandes ovaciones, y también al final de "Fool's Overture" hubieron muchos oeee oeee oeeee pidiendo los bises.

Obviamente ha sido una ocasion muy especial para mi, tenerlos en mi ciudad.

Nos encontramos en el Auditori muchos amigos y vecinos, nos lo pasamos genial. En los bises, como es costumbre en los conciertos de Roger, nos acercamos junto al escenario todo el que quiso para disfrutar de cerca los últimos temas. Vi muchas caras felices por ahí  :o)

 

Al final de la noche, tras las emotivas despedidas, les acompañamos hasta el Autocar en donde viajan a lo largo de la gira (equipado con literas). Les esperaban 14 horas de viaje hasta Suiza, para el proximo concierto en un par de dias.
