So how was work?

It was good. Alejo was a very smart guy and let me do all that was my skills and, in the other hand, tried to seduce me when it appeared themes that could be aired on radio. In the end I think it have come, in natural way, more pop tunes than I thought. One of those songs, for example, I did with Roger Hodgson.
I met him at a concert in France it was called Excalibur, like the sword of King Arthur. He came into my dressing room saying "play something" then I started jamming and I got the idea that I loved that guitar. Then I found out his career with Supertramp and I was surprised how I knew his repertoire. Later, returning to the hotel at night, I took notes on what we were jamming and one morning I got the inspiration in a sunny day in Galicia, always exceptional fact. We emailed him the music and two days later he responded with the song including his singing, with the lyrics that he had heard on that music, as he said.

¿ Y el trabajo cómo fué ?

Estuvo muy bien. Alejo fué un tipo muy inteligente y me dejó hacer en todo lo que era más mi terreno y, en cambio, trataba de seducirte cuando aparecían los temas que podían sonar en la radio. Al final creo que han salido, de forma natural, más temas pop de lo que yo pensaba. Una de esas canciones, por ejemplo, la hice con Roger Hodgson.
Le conocí en un concierto en Francia que se llamaba Excalibur, como la espada del rey Arturo. El entró en mi camerino diciendo "toca algo", entonces empecé a improvisar y me quedé con la idea de esa guitarra que me encantó. Luego descubrí su trayectoria con Supertramp y me quedé sorprendido de cómo conocía su repertorio. Más tarde, al volver al hotel por la noche, tomé notas de lo que estuvimos improvisando y una buena mañana me llegó la inspiración con sol en Galicia, hecho siempre excepcional. Le enviámos por email la música y dos días después respondió con la canción ya cantada, con la letra que el había escuchado en esa música, como dijo.
