New Double CD 40th Anniversary Crime of the Century DELUXE EDITION
Universal Music will reissue 40th anniversary editions of Supertramp‘s 1974 album Crime of the Century in December, including a 3LP vinyl box set.
The original album is remastered across all formats and the two-CD deluxeedition and 3LP vinyl box adds a previously unreleased concert from London’s Hammersmith Odeon in March 1975. During this gig the band play Crime of the Century in its entirety as well as new tracks from what was their forthcoming album, Crisis . . . What Crisis? This concert has been mixed from the original tapes by Crime’s original producer Ken Scott.
The limited edition vinyl box comes with two 10 x 8 images and an eight page booklet featuring a 7,500 word essay by Phil Alexander of Mojo Magazine, featuring new interviews with many of the key players. The albums are pressed on 180gm vinyl and the box comes with a download card.
Crime of the Century is reissued on 8 December 2014.

Webmaster Note: The Hammersmith concert is an old well known item for the fans, because it's and old bootleg, called "Dreamers" or "Is everybody listening" over the years. Know more. So nothing new actually..... Also, this edition doesn't include video, a liittle disappointment for the die-hard fans. What a shame. Anyway, this is a nice present for this Christmas!
El 8 de Diciembre de 2014 Universal Music publica una nueva edición del disco "Crime of the Century" en versión DeLuxe.
Consiste en una remasterización del disco original (otra más....), acompañada de la grabación del concierto que Supertramp dió en el Hammersmith Odeon de Londres en Marzo de 1975, durante la gira de promoción de dicho disco, que contenía canciones también del "Crisis? What Crisis" antes de ser publicado.
Esta edición limitada aparece en varios formatos: tanto en doble CD como en 3 vinilos de alta calidad, así como en Blu-ray Audio. La versión de vinilos viene en una caja con unas fotos y unas entrevistas. Arriba tenéis la lista de canciones que se incluyen.
Comentar que el concierto de Hammersmith es un viejo conocido de los muy fans, pues ya existía como disco pirata hace muchos años, con los nombres por ejemplo de "Dreamers" o "Is everybody listening". ( Ver Mas ). Es decir, nada nuevo bajo el sol .....Tampoco incluye ningun video, cosa muy esperada por todos, pero que parece ser no ha sido posible por desavenencias varias. Una pena. De todos modos un buen regalo para estas fiestas !
